These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at https://www.seocompanyincalgary.ca (the "Site") and any services provided by SEO Company in Calgary ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Our Services

We provide search engine optimization (SEO) and related digital marketing services, including local SEO, technical SEO, on-page and off-page SEO, content, conversion rate optimization, and reporting. The specific scope, deliverables, and fees for any engagement are set out in a separate proposal or agreement between us and the client.

No Guarantee of Rankings or Results

SEO depends on factors outside our control, including search engine algorithms, which change frequently and without notice. We follow proven, ethical practices and work diligently on your behalf, but we do not and cannot guarantee specific rankings, traffic levels, leads, or revenue. Any timelines or projections we share are good-faith estimates, not promises.

Client Responsibilities

If you engage us, you agree to provide timely access, information, and approvals we reasonably need to perform the work (for example, website access, content, and feedback). You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of materials you provide and for maintaining your own backups.

Fees & Payment

Fees, billing cycles, and payment terms are defined in your proposal or service agreement. Unless stated otherwise, invoices are due as specified there, and services may be paused or suspended for overdue accounts.

Intellectual Property

The content, design, and materials on the Site are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. Deliverables produced for a client are governed by the terms of that client's agreement. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse Site content without our permission.

Confidentiality

Each party agrees to keep the other's non-public business information confidential and to use it only for the purpose of the engagement.

Third-Party Services

Our services interact with third-party platforms (such as Google Search, Google Business Profile, and analytics tools). We do not control those platforms, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Site or our services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the services giving rise to the claim.

Termination

Either party may end an engagement in accordance with the terms of the applicable service agreement. We may also restrict or suspend access to the Site at our discretion.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Alberta will have jurisdiction over any dispute.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site means you accept the revised Terms.
